‘Satyamev Jayate’ is back and this time with the same appeal, focus and enlightenment. I remember, watching all the episodes when it was first shown in 2012. The show is the brainchild of Aamir Khan. All credits to him for innovating such an inspiring show. It is a Television Show which showcases the evil practices prevalent in our society. The show aims at creating social awareness and generate strong positive response from the Indian public. The series
was earlier shown on Star Plus Channel in the year 2012 and now it is again going to be shown on Star Plus from 2nd of march, 2014.
I remember, the first show of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ received an over-whelming response. The show was about ‘female infanticide’ and was like an eye-opening experience for many Indians. The show had created large-scale awareness and had also generated tremendous positive response. Many Government Institutions took many steps towards putting a full stop to this evil practice. It was reported in the media that after the first episode was shown, the website of the show crashed as a result of huge traffic. People rushed to visit the website and post their comments, experiences and appreciation. I remember, I too had logged in for writing a few words of appreciation int he comments section.
Theshow and the website had listed out many genuine and authentic charitable organisations and many of them have received donations in huge numbers from Indians scattered all over the World. We too have contributed our humble donations to quite a few such organisations.
I wish people continue watching the show with equal enthusiasm and donate to the charitable organisations show in the show with a compassionate heart.
